After a very sluggish start in NYC we are off to see the sculpture at DIA Beacon!
We can escape the city, see some art and have a picnic!

What: Looking at large scale sculpture and artwork
When: April 24th - Departing from Grand Central Station at 12:30
Where: DIA - Beacon
Wear: Warmer clothes, walking shoes, camera
Why: Large scale art is hella rad
Want: Sounds like we can picnic there, so bring snacks and drinks!
Wallet: $10/museum ticket, $26/round trip train fare
What else: The train ride lasts under two hours, plus two hours looking at art and picnicking, so the whole event may last around six hours.

Abandoned Subway Tunnel
Co-Captain Erinn S. suggested we all go explore the abandoned subway tunnel in Brooklyn. It was a great start to the Ateam | NYC series!

Adventure Team was started in the San Francisco Bay Area as a way for recently-graduated friends to explore the area and to do it on the cheap. Below are some of the flyers and pictures from earlier events.

My birthday party turned into a petanque event.
I dragged everyone on a hike along the coastline to the Pelican Inn for beer and a game of darts!

I think we were rained out and went bowling(?)
Cooking at Kerry's old place. Remy is tossing a salad. *sigh*
This was the flyer from the very first event. Originally, it was called Team Adventure, sort of a silly spin-off of the movie title, Team America. Almost immediately we started calling it Adventure Team, so the name stuck.
